QF Upgrades - Successes or Failures (post results)

Not as great as some of the others on here, but was successful last week as a WP on SYD-PER and PER-SYD (red-eye) from Flex Y to J. 10,900 points each way and managed to get a few hours sleep so worth it for me.

Requested the upgrade primarily to try the Finnair AirLounge concept, also figured that given I will drop to Silver in July this might be one of my last chances for a while to benefit from the higher priority in the upgrade queue. Looks like it will be a full cabin. Looking forward to it!

Hiya Larko what a treat!! Happy birthday! Are you SG/WP/WP1? I’m holding out with a little bit of hope for my partner and I for QF1 SYD-SIN J>F the following day (31st) but we are just Bronze so know it’s super unlikely. Congrats in any case!

Mr Katie and his mate (both WP, separate bookings) got Y+ to J upgrades on QF 1 yesterday (Weds). SMS of upgrade came through on Monday morning, so around T-56 or so.
