I haven't been here for a very long time and hoping to get some advise.

I have a SYD-PER booked for myself on award Y and my partner booked with paid Y.

What are the chances of having these upgraded. It's a Saturday morning flight.

Also can I request that these be upgraded at the same time. If they can't do both then I would rather keep Y seats.

if different bookings the only way they'd upgrade at the same time is if 2 U seats are showing and you can upgrade right away (of course if you both hold the same status even a waitlisted request would probably clear at around the same time, but you risk that one may get an upgrade and one may not).

Remember domsctic upgrades can be granted immediately if space is available.

If you can see two J award seats on the flight now then go do the upgrade.. if not.. well.. then you probably will play a lottery.

note if it's a 737 servce on a Saturday morning your chances are that much less (just like the product)
