For those PER based flyers, looks like QF will replace the venerable F100 with further "mid life" E190 to be operated by Network. Will see both VA and QF switching FIFO F100 ops to the E190s (E2s for VA). Replacement won't start till end of 2026 so presumably will still be flying well into 2027.

While getting on in age, they have been maintained well and the ex Austrian Airlines examples look nicer inside than most of QFs 737s and A330s and the 34in seat pitch will be missed. Incredibly by the retirement Fokker jets will have been in Australian skies for 50 years!

After the VA and QF retirement leaves Alliance as the only airline flying the type locally. (I think Skippers have parked theirs?)

Probably come from Alliance after they take some of the KLM city hopper fleet. Shows how much the world has changed from the time VA ran the jungle jets, now they are the flavour of the month/year/decade.
