Qantas to add Premium Economy on Tokyo, Frankfurt flights
Qantas has just announced the introduction of Premium Economy on its services to Tokyo and Frankfurt, with the extra class to be available on the Tokyo route from Oct 2010 and to Frankfurt from Feb next year.
CEO Alan Joyce said the carrier would retrofit six two-class Boeing 747s to include 40 Premium Economy seats, with the move following "extremely positive" feedback from customers on the Premium Economy product.

That's awesome news.

I'm thinking of going to Frankfurt next March. I really didn't want to travel in Y, but wasn't sure if I could spring for J.

PE is nicely in the middle, so I'd say we have a winner :)

I am going to FRA next March in J. Yay.

Not sure what this will do for my seat selected in row 23. But I'll wait to see. I'm really hoping to get into 16 in one direction and I not sure if I should try 4 middle or 23 in the other direction. Anyway, I'll see.

Sale special of $3999 return to FRA.

This is excellent news. The QF Y+ product is great IMHO and when well priced a real winner.

Cheers
