A question for you all that my searching skills haven't seemed to answer...

Business Sale (I) fare MEL-AKL-NPE (Napier / Hastings)

MEL-AKL on QF 8762 (on EK metal)
AKL-NPE on NZ 8425 (on Air Nelson as AirNZ Link)

Ticket issued on QF. I can obviously credit my QF(EK) flight to QF... However...

Can I credit that NZ flight to anything though? QF? NZ? UA? VA? (That would be quite funny, actually.)

Also, does anyone know how you can find out what class you're booked in (I now know the site-code trick pre-ticketing, but have no idea post-ticketing, and can't seem to find anything on my Tax Invoice.)

Thanks!

You can credit your NZ flight to NZ, UA or VA, that is however dependent on the bucket you're booked into and whether that bucket earns or not.

To figure out the fare bucket you're booked into try looking for the fare code, and the first letter will tell you which fare bucket you're booked into.

Thanks. Curious if anyone has any idea where I can find the fare code from a ticket purchased on qantas.com. It doesn't seem to be on the booking site, nor on the Tax Invoice.

If you look your booking up on www.qantas.com/yourbooking, against each segment there would be a fare bucket code in brackets ... e.g. (I) or (D) or (S)

It is this "fare bucket" that points/SC earnings are based on for each individual segment, not the actual "fare code".
