Hi,
I have flights booked on QF near the end of the year: HBA-MEL-LAX and MIA(AA) - LAX -MEL (via AKL) -HBA. I foolishly put both of our seating requests as Aisle, so we have ended up being allocated seats all across the cabin away from each other.
Is this sytem computerised or did someone at Qantas think it would be funny to put us at either ends of the cabin? Can the QF call centre fix this up for us or do we do it on the day we fly? Can you request exit rows early or only on the day with QF flights?
Also, we asked to upgrade out final domestic flight to Business but were told there were no upgrade seats, do QF release more upgrade seats over time or have we missed out even though the flight is on Xmas Eve night - all I want is to have a shower in QC in MEL after the marathon MIA-LAX-MEL flights!
Sorry for the ramble but any info you guys have would be great, especially if I have to do battle with the call centre - I've found that they sometimes don't know their own policies!
Cheers,
Alex
