In a word - NO.
You need to have had a boarding pass issued and for it to have been scanned at the gate for your flight to register.
See post #4 for the answer. They take your money - but allocate no SC or points. Never understood why not!
I wouldn't think this is typical but once, about three years ago, I no-showed and did get points and SCs.
It was a corporate booking 'Y' domestic.
Generally no but you never know. Mistakes do happen.
If you used OLCI and did not turn up for the flight you may still end up getting credited.
I asked for, and received the equivalent points and SCs. Others did, too, as reported in various threads. Don't know if it is too late for you to apply at this stage - but worth a go?with respect to no shows, what was the general feeling when the strike was on, Qantas canceled (with refund) my return flight to the USA as it was date dependent and there was no point rebooking, but should I also have been awarded the SCs as well?
