QF Platinum at Tom Bradley

Hi all. Thought I saw somewhere that there are Fast Track facilities for arrival Immigration and Customs at Tom Bradley for QF Platinum/One World Emerald? Can anyone confirm this, and what the process is to take advantage? Am arriving on QF15 from BNE

Sadly no, there is no arrivals Fast Track for status passengers at TBIT.

We've always been taken to front of line each time we landed at TBIT, I assume its because traveling with kids?
I wasn't going to question bypassing 100's of people in line that's for sure.

Nup, just join a line, it isn't too bad anyway. Don't join the first line, look to the far end of the hall as sometimes there are immigration officers waiting and few passengers .

Arrivals at TBIT is quite fast these days. Sometimes waiting for luggage takes more time than going through immigration and customs.

Departures is also reasonable. Premium passengers just join the main queue a bit further along. No biggie.

The throngs of passengers pre security in the main hall sitting on the floor will never change. I thnk It is a result of aircraft departures departing 6-10 hours after hotel checkouts. If I did not have lounge access I would just pay for a day rate or night rate at a LAX hotel (but checkin first)

Is TBIT QF/OW J lounge still chokers as the old one? The old one used to have people sitting on the floors and kids running amok and taking over the macs.

There is a fast track arrivals at TBIT, though it depends on the length of your connection rather than status. A bit more than a half an hour delay on my last two arrivals with CX caused an orange sticker to be posted just past the arrivals gate.
Having said that, ePassport arrival on a USA passport would almost produce the same result, which is to avoid the long queues. The orange card also provides a minor speed up through the customs lines.
