MultiCity Bookings.

Can anyone tell me why it is so hard to not have the International Multi City Booking Tool and the Domestic Multi City Booking Tool the same?

I would like to book the cheapest upgradable fare online without having to fork out the extra money for assisted bookings or anything like that.

Having not booked an international Multi City before, can I book the cheapest fare online, and then change it to upgradable fares online as part of the MMB site? I am aware there will be change fees etc, but surely there must be an easier way to do it?

(Mods- If needs be can you please create a new thread for this question if necessary)

Hmmm. When did QF make those changes? It has been a while since I have booked international multi-city and the interface feels a little strange.

Sorry I cannot answer your question but there are some new features which may help you.

First off you can choose the more flexible option but I am not convinced this will show the cheapest upgradeable airfares but rather the more expensive flexible airfares.

Secondly if looking at Best Price airfares there is an option to show alternatives and then click on fliter results which you can then show upgradeable airfares only or all flights. Need to use it more often to work out if this feature is working properly.

The other option I like is that it now shows a lot more alternatives for each sector rather than the 8-10 shown previously which was cluttered with JQ options where available.
