QF MEL Lounge opening time and QF comp pass question for EK lounge

So a friend is leaving on EK409 next week leaving MEL at 0220 and has 2 x complimentary QF lounge passes

I assume that the MEL QF lounge is closed at this time and the EK lounge will be open ?

However, will these complimentary passes work in the EK lounge ? Assuming the QF lounge is closed

I believe the conditions are on the back of the card.

It should say something along the lines of "Can be used prior to any Qantas/Jetstar Marketed and Operated Flight"

I dont think they will have access to the EK lounge.

Well yes having a quick look at Ebay they state only QF lounges and only QF operated flights!

Hmm I hate to break the bad news to him (that he won't get access), but he did ask me for advice

Sorry for the bad news , Im not sure if there are any paid lounges in MEL that will be open? someone else might be able to provide more info on that!
