QF Mel-LAX J Class - A$6,720!!

I have been trying to get a cheap ticket to LAX in J Class with OW. The last time Qantas had a business class sale, Mel-Lax was $10k. CAn't believe that a month later they reduced it by 40%!

You could always book PE and hope for a J seat or book PE and spend 45000 points (each way) on an upgrade.

Well they were/are the only airline that didn't/doesn't have around $7k return to the USA.
