I have noticed that since the last few days there are no seats showing at all on QF97 BNE to HKG and QF29 MEL - HKG on 31/10. All searches suggest routing via SYD and SIN. SYD- HKG on QF127 seems available at reasonable fares so it does not seem MEL/ BNE pax are rebooked via SYD
It appears the aircraft still has seats on the return flights from HKG to BNE and MEL on the same days

Any reason for sudden non availability of seats (or blocking of seats ) or is it a system bug? I did a search on a few agents website and BNE - HKG is avail but not MEL- HKG

2 charter flights?

PS The 2 flights and seats are no available again so it appears to be an error in the system searches.
