I will travel to HK on the 17th may (departure time 9:40AM) and i am QFF Platinum but i need to guest 2 people. Is there anyone travelling on the same day who can guest 1 person ?

I have a couple of friends (both QF NB) who are travelling CX SYD-HKG. I've got a couple of Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations from HSBC.

Can they get into the QF Int Biz lounge at SYD using these, even though travelling on CX and CX flight #?
