QF Frequent flyer points to Avios

I am flying with Oman Airlines Mel/Fra in September and opted to earn Frequent Flyer points. Oman Airlines will have Avios later this month. Can I swap the points to Avios?

Yes, if you sign up for an Avios-earning frequent flyer program and change the frequent flyer number associated with the booking to that program.

Not sure what you mean. Cannot swap QF ff points to Avios
Oman Air do not fly from MEL. You may have a codeshare on another airline
Oman Airlines is due to join the Oneworld alliance 30 June 2025
Prior to the joining OW Oman become a QF ff partner. https://www.qantas.com/au/en/frequent-flyer/partners/oman-air.html
From that date (30 June) will be able to earn ff miles/avios/points on eligible flights to all OW frequent flyer programs. From 30 June should be able to select another ffp if you have QF ffn in the reservation. May need a phone call if cannot do on web site.

I'd interpret that statement as Conde Nast just mentioning 2 oneworld airlines and their common currency that can be used to book after WY joins (or sometime thereafter).
The clue in the paragraph is: ...using Avios points from British Airways and Qatar Airways...

There has been no communication regarding a currency change at WY from either them or oneworld.
