Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any insight as to what will happen here. I booked 2 tickets for 30K Asia Miles to NRT and the flight is now flying to HND (good news really!). Will Qantas automatically rebook or do I need to ring Qantas or Asia Miles?

I noticed that J award space has opened up on the same date so if there is an option to redeposit and rebook that would be a good option if available.

Thanks,
Paul

I suspect you won't need to do anything, the flight number remains QF25/26, just moves from SYD-NRT to SYD-HND

Ok I'll call up and see if they will do a free redeposit or change of award as well. For 15000 Asia miles each it's probably worth it

The flight number is changing. The current SYD-NRT numbers are QF21/22. The last use of QF25/26 was on AKL-LAX.

You won't need to do anything, bookings made for flights after the change will simply be moved across to the new flight.

Well thats a pain for me. I have a US redemption to the States via QF 21 syd to NRT then onto Boston on Japan airlines flight number 8 from NRT. SO i guess i have to transit between airports now... Any ideas?

JL has some US flights from HND, but they are to the west coast.
The east coast (BOS/JFK) flights are in the afternoon/evening. The SYD-TYO QF flight arrives in the morning. There is more then enough time to make a connection between HND and NRT. There are limited trains between the two airports and buses are quite common.

Thanks for your advice

Limousine bus is door to door and every 20min or so and A$32 but you will have all day to transfer so maybe doing a quick visit to central Tokyo might be a good detour
