We'd just be happy to have the choice of a QF flight to HKG from this part of the world. That said, they'd probably use a 737 to service it...

Based on the 100% full flight I was on from PER to HKG the other night, I can't believe QF can't make this work.

I occasionally check the CX flights HKG-PER as part of a theoretical return from one of my favorite south Asia stops. About half the time the cheapest routing is HKG-MEL-PER. :mad: ???? I suggest to MPC that CX could pull one of the multiple frequencies from MEL or SYD on a slow day to get another day's second flight into PER, but I haven't heard back :rolleyes:

I think PER-HKG at 3730 miles would be pushing a 737 a bit hard, though if JQ were to get some A321LRs it would likely be physically possible...... for the airplane
