QF First Lounge in Singapore

Now if only they could have space for luggage when having a shower. Even a large hook would suffice at a minimum.

This is why I usually shower at QR instead (when flying J/F) - the luggage storage is very handy

Btw. @kermatu an often hidden/overlooked feature of the napkins in SIN is a little slit which enables you to attach same to your shirt (assuming you have a button). This largely solves the, I eat like a 3 yr old (issue I sometimes have) :)
Use of the button hole is just about compulsory when having the Laksa.

Not just the SIN lounge, this is a feature of all QF J napkins - and one I enthusiastically wear.

Anyone know if there's supposed to be anything specific for F pax in the Singapore or LAX F Lounges?

Certainly at SIN, there is "off list" F&B available for be F, P1 & CL.
Interesting. I just flew F out of Singapore and nobody mentioned anything about it, whether that be the lounge reception scanning my boarding pass or my server (I believe I left my boarding pass on the table).

Nothing mentioned to me in my 2 recent SIN visits (P1 flying F), though I didn't ask. On first visit when I asked about whiskey was told the regular options like Chivas 18. A minute later server came back and mentioned a couple of other options such as Laphroaig. That's available in the MEL lounge so I doubt it's an off menu item, but I never went to the bar to see myself.

The last time I was at the SIN F lounge, they were quite happy to serve me food at a table outside the dining area where I was set up with my laptop and access to power. Same thing at LAX the last time I was there.
MEL and SYD on the other hand have insisted on me sitting in the defined dining area (with no easy access to power or table space for laptop) for any food.

That's odd. I've had food served outside the dining area in both SYD and MEL, including in the meeting/business rooms.

They even have wait staff 'stations' with full printed menus at the far end of both lounges.

I've sat next to the wooden pillars where there are some power sockets

Yes, my experience too.

Strange ...

More than this year at MEL I have been offered a menu, ordered and eaten at one of the work desks (not a room, out in open).

Same here (WP flying F), just escorted to reserved area on left side both times near servery, handed menu, usual spiel for food & drinks, and that was about it.
Nothing flash really:rolleyes:
