How long does it take for the Double SC points to be allocated? I took up the offer and got the email back, Booked flights before the cut off and flew BNE-SYD return yesterday. Have only been allocated the standard SC points (40 each way, J class). Not double SC's

It can take 2-3 days.

T&Cs stated You will receive your bonus Status Credits up to eight weeks after travel.

4 days between the 2 credits for mine.

I traveled last Thursday, EMD-BNE-MEL.

The 737 DSC showed up on the weekend, nothing as yet for the Alliance sector.

The 737 DSC showed up on the weekend, nothing as yet for the Alliance sector.

My EMD Alliance ones show up between 9pm and midnight on the third day after I fly. So a Thursday flight is credited on the Sunday.

Also I should have been clearer; the normal SC for the Alliance sector came on arrival at BNE, it is just the DSC that have not showed up as yet.

Yeah I'm only talking about the DSC. The regular ones are credited by the time I land.

QF would probably be hoping many of those in #2 would shift into #1 if they stopped Fight Club.

The other issue for QF is whether #2 is causing issues for them elsewhere - eg if a lot of seats are getting sold in small regional cinemas, those sessions appear full or in high demand, but then everyone ends up not being able to make it and later changes to other sessions elsewhere.

I'm sure they've also run the sums and figured that the revenue they lose from those forgoing the session is ameliorated by those who will begrudgingly book during the elevated cost period.

That said, this is now the second DSC where I've booked one day prior but still been awarded doubles. Not that I'm complaining nor am I suggesting this as an alternate strategy...

You booked the day before the dsc was announced/started?
There was an issue in the past, some members booked too early during the promotion, and had to manually chase the DSC. The concensious was to wait until midnight (can t remember which time zone), or the next day before booking. Maybe IT fixed it in the backend by starting one day earlier?

Yeah I'm aware, was just sharing my experience on the time it has taken for the Alliance flights with Cessna 180. I've had 3 flights on this route credited in the exact same timeframe so far this DSC.
