May be this is a thing? The register for DSC promo registration link doesn't show on my iPhone QF app homepage. I think it's because I have a flight today and the real estate is taken over by the flight details and boarding pass. Will check after the flight and see if the registration link for the promo appears on the app homepage.
I don’t have a ss from before selecting DSC but it shows up under the flight details for me:

Just wanted to ask - if my gold status is up on 30 June 2026 and I need more SC to stay Gold - I would need to also fly before then to get the DSC and retain gold? Correct?

Correct, but further on from that, it can technically take 8 weeks for the double status credits to hit your account.

So should we just get this out of the road right here and now then? 😜

"Has anyone's DSC posted yet?"

And for those playing along at home....

Some answers courtesy of @henrus from one of the earlier promos....

When's the next DSC Promo? = It hasn't been announced yet but expected shortly.
Will I earn DSC on Alliance? = Yes all QantasLink services including operated by Alliance, National Jet Systems, Network Aviation, Eastern Australia Airlines and Sunstate Airlines are eligible.
Where did all the sale fares go? = Sales and DSC/DP promos don't typically occur at the same time.
Has anyone's DSC posted yet? = DSC's typically take a few days after the flight to post however on the first flight of your DSC promos this can take longer up to several weeks.
Does a QF flight number on EK metal count? = Nope (nor do any other QF flights not operated by Qantas or QantasLink airlines see list above).
Don't talk about Fight Club. = Don't know what you're on about 😜 .
Come on! I just booked J flights to XYZ :-( = If booked within 24 hours and departing from AU then you might be eligible for free cancellation otherwise too bad, you're subject to full cancellation if you wish to cancel and rebook (a change doesn't count).
Will I earn DSC for flights I booked 3 months ago? = Nope.
Does this mean there won't be another DSC promo in [month]? = Qantas decide and announce the DSC promos and never give any early indication, there is some consistent patterns with one at the start of most years but as with most things in life, nothing is guaranteed.

You need to edit to add in DSC on Award flights for PC and PC+
And DSC on the AY wet lease QF flights
😉

Do I get DSC on the AY wet lease QF flights? = Yes.
Does my AMEX flight credit earn DSC? = Yes, provided you've booked a flight that meets all the relevant criteria.
Where did all the sale fares go? = Sales and DSC/DP promos don't typically occur at the same time.
Will I earn DSC on Award Flights as PC/PC+? = Yes you will, per the Classic Flight Rewards Tables for Points Club Members.
Was it the original movie or the Director's Cut? = Time will tell, but we all enjoy the classic ending. ;)
Will I earn DSC on Alliance? = Yes all QantasLink services including operated by Alliance, National Jet Systems, Network Aviation, Eastern Australia Airlines and Sunstate Airlines are eligible.
Does a QF flight number on EK metal count? = Nope (nor do any other QF flights not operated by Qantas, QantasLink or the Finnair AY wet lease QF flights).

Do the DSC count toward LT Status? = This time? Yes. Next time? Anyone's guess.
Will I earn DSC for flights I booked 3 months ago? = Nope.

Watch out for the fine print re partner airlines:

QF flights operated by Alliance Airlines, National Jet, Airlink, Eastern Australia Airlines and Sunstate Airlines are eligible for this offer. QF flights operated by Finnair for Qantas will also be eligible for this offer. Any other flight with a QF flight number on the ticket which is not operated by Qantas including Jetstar, Jetstar Japan and other partner airlines including, but not limited to, Emirates and American Airlines will not be eligible for this offer. All bookings must be new to be eligible. Any new segments added to an existing PNR during the Offer Period will not be eligible.

I just booked Classic Rewards flights via QF for a pre-Christmas family trip to Thailand. As a PCP+ I believe double SCs will apply.

If you are going to NZ I strongly encourage you to look at buying AUS-NZ and NZ-AUS as separate PNRs.

Whilst it may not always be the case, today my DUD-AKL-MEL leg was ~AU$300 cheaper purchased on QF NZ site, than it was going to be for the exact same flights if purchased on the QF AU site by adding to same PNR as my MEL-SYD-CHC-DUD leg. Seems there is currently a better Sale on the NZ site to encourage the kiwis not to fly Air NZ.

Best price for DUD-AKL-MEL on QF AU was AU$980 (DUD-AKL is QF code share on Air NZ in whY, with AKL-MEL in J on QF, so I will only get DSC on the AKL-MEL leg) but on QF NZ same flight was NZ$700.

I was today years old when I learned that neither Air NZ no Jetstar offer J on NZ domestic flights :(
