I’m curious too about how this would qualify. Are you thinking Points Club SC earning because you’re on QF metal? But that only applies to classic rewards, not flights booked via Oneworld partners.

Cancelled my existing Qantas booking (221K QF + $600 in fees) and rebooked with AA (110K AA + $40 in fees), and now will now get DSC.
