QF domestic to Jetstar domestic - baggage interline?

Does luggage automatically transfer from a Qantas domestic flight to a Jetstar domestic flight?

E.g. QF Sydney to Melbourne and JQ Melbourne to Launceston?

No.

Qantas even announce after landing, still on taxi to the terminal, that you have to collect your baggage and then check-in/baggage drop with Jetstar.

Ha! If only! Jetstar won't even transfer luggage between two Jetstar flights.
