Hi, I'm travelling overseas soon and work has booked me an economy ticket in Booking Class B.

Is this counted as Full Economy or Discount Economy for FF points and SC earn.

Grateful for any advice.

Thanks.

For Qantas FF program, it is considered discount economy.

For earning in the AA program, it is considered full economy.

Adding onto NMs comment, it also counts for 1.5 qpoints per mile to AA scheme

I can confirm this, as I just came back on a B class ticket from SFO and credited to AA, whilst my work colleague credited to QF. Unfortunately, if you want to upgrade into business class it is still considered as Discount Economy, and costs more QF points.

Thanks for your advice on this. It's booked on Qantas and I was hoping it was Full Economy, but not to be...

Which is the same earning rate as business or first class fares, making B fares very useful for AA, but very poor earners for QF FF.
