I filled in the APIS on the QF website last week. This morning I received a missed call and voicemail from AA saying that information about Secure Flight is missing some passenger information.
I logged in and double checked. Everyone's info is in. Except middle names. Which apparently is not a problem.
Currently on chat with QF who have said
It was very disconcerting to receive that message from AA. I've never received it before on trips to LOTFAP
Now that I think about, any booking I've made through QF never had the middle name option. I can't remember if I added it during the actual booking or not.

You may ignore the message you received regarding the missing APIS. Your booking is all good and the passengers are ticketed. The booking will be not ticketed if there are missing documents for the flight.
