QF adds flights to CHC

But if you look at the way they are timed for CHC coming across to MEL it makes a lot of $ense...

Oh I like the time for the CHC-MEL flight. It'll make a quick weekend over there easier.

Now that MEL-DXB-LHR is disappearing, the awkwardly-timed MEL-CHC flight won't really connect to anything. I wonder if we can expect to see QF133/132 re-timed (with MEL-CHC becoming something other than a redeye)?

Fingers crossed for a reasonable time but with the "new" QF10 arriving at 8:10pm that may not happen.

Well sure enough, the CHC-MEL schedules have been re-timed.

The new schedule from 25 March 2018 is as follows:

QF133 MEL 18:55 - CHC 00:20+1
QF132 CHC 14:30 - MEL 16:15

The BNE-CHC flight is also being re-timed slightly, departing at the earlier time of 07:10 from 24 March.

The CHC flight now leaves MEL at the ungodly hour of 7am. So Friday night flights for a weekend away are now off the table.
