Hey everyone!

Could anyone explain the amazing (comparatively) new A330 that is QF 83 SYD-HNL on September 12th. Will this become a regular service? It looks great!
Finally something other than QF 3 and that 767

And where does the aircraft go after QF83? Doesn't seem to fly back from HNL that day. Rather there is a QF84 HNL/SYD on 9th Sept...

Seems odd that there are 3 QF group services that day - 1xJQ and 2 x QF... Does it go onwards to somewhere else after or is it being used as a charter or something after that?

Interesting. It's bookable on the QF site which suggests it's not a charter. At the same time, though, I can't see it on any other day around that time, nor can I see a QF84.

I thought that maybe they have a charter ex HNL to somewhere, and thus the QF83/QF84 are effectively positioning flights? It's on sale so presume they just want to get some. Ash while they move the bird to HNL?

Unusual and it's an A330-300. I would suggest it's a charter to HNL prior to the 9th then it takes on paying passengers as a scheduled service back to SYD on the 9th, it then takes paying passengers as a scheduled service back from SYD to HNL on the 12th and then returns to somewhere on AUS as a charter some time on the 12th or after. Or something like this. HNL-SYD must be around max range for A330-300 with full payload.

It is for a charter for a large companies conference. QF6032 today went SYD-AKL-HNL and is coming back as QF84.
