QF 3K to KUL on one ticket - luggage?

Hi all contemplating QF+3K to KUL

As I understand the transfer or above is T1 in SIN and arrive/depart in KLIA2

I could go QF-MH but transfer T1-T2 in SIN but arrive KLIA1

All in one ticket return

Does luggage get checked through both directions?

So 3K or MH?

SIN T1-T2 is linked by Skytrains both airside and landside, and takes less than a minute. You can even walk it too if you like. Note that the MH lounge is closed, and they're using a contract lounge, so you'll want to be in the QF or BA lounge before heading down to T2 for the MH flight anyway. KLIA1 is a much better terminal than KLIA2 as well.
