Another substantial QF delay tonite (feeling like a news limited reporter here ...)
I turned up for my SQ flight to SIN at 01:05 and noticed QF009 still here, currently due to depart at 01:30 (original schedule 17:05). So I'm sitting in here in the QP using my WP access privileges and there are a lot of weary looking travellers around.
The irony is that I was going to take QF009 tonight as a part of a Oneworld Circle Asia. But as I had a meeting that didn't finish until 5:30pm, I elected for the overnight SQ flight instead with open jaws into/out of China instead. In the end little difference to arrival time, but sure glad I'm on the SQ new J overnight (777-300ER) than the QF skybed!
