QCC how before refund of preauthorisation at Novotel AKL aport

If anyone has stayed there and used the card for authorisation?
Will ask same question at VGW, planning to stay at Novotel AKL aport again, 2 weeks after using the VGW and the preauthorisation hasn't come back!
4 weeks is goss on Google.
 
Don't use a debit card is the best idea. RedRoo has even made a comment that Qantascash isn't for things such as this.
 
Thanks, will use my other bank card, also a Visa, ...
As I mentioned on the VGW side, I had the cash, Nzd$100, but she didn't want to take it, didn't push hard enough, maybe?
But will report back here to see how long the VGW takes to reverse, yes, I know, its the "opposition" card to this QCC.
