Any experiance/advice for me?

I am traveling in Jul across Aus-US-Can-Jpn almost exclusinvely on QF flights. I am traveling in Business but my two kids 15yrs and 11yrs are in ecomony. I am QFF Gold and my query is will I be allowed to take both of my children as guests into the club lounges?

I know the rule is one guest only but how strict are they on this?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

depending on how full the lounge is you have a good chance. As others have said, Qantas are better than others with this.

Just depends i think, In JAL Sakura lounge i have managed 2 guests before, but not children and don't think i have ever seen children in there (a dozen trips), but the JAL staff seem quiet helpful and reasonable.
Also Osaka JAL Sakura lounge has been possible (Seen somebody else manage it without any fuss)

Not very qualified to speak on your other locations.

AA usually permit everyone travelling together from the same family, so no issued there. For Qantas lounges, you can all a few days before and ask politely and they may write your details into their day book at the counter so they will be expecting your group.

I've found QF are very good with this. A while ago i was traveling from BNE with a group of people comprised of another family, with the addition of myself; 6 people total, with only one QP (Gold) member. Needless to say - they let us all in!
