QBE cover

i have a flight from perth to melb on jetstar booked on monday night that i might not make. A lot depends on next 24-36hrs and its a cheap fare. I was wondering if i took the QBE travel cover you can add to the flight would i get the money back if i cancel or don't turn up?

as was looking at the QBE cover for the year, is this a good deal they offer or is their something better?

I picked up an annual policy (excl Americas) for $232 with no excess.

Although it's important to note I was 20 when I purchased it.
