Looks like Qatar has just announced a bunch of new routes, including Doha-Auckland which will become the new world's longest flight. Emirates only started the new longest flight from DXB to AKL last week!

Other new QR destinations will include Helsinki, Pisa, Chiang Mai, Krabi, Marrakech, Lusaka and Windhoek.

Interesting, some 'second tier' destinations in there for direct long haul flights. Krabi? Surely mainly a leisure destination. Do they fly to coughet yet?
