Having done DXB-DOH a few times on QR in F, they already do approx 13 flights a day, so although there will be a few more flights I don't see how QR made it out to be such a big announcement. The equipment used between DOH-DXB varies flight to flight, I've had A320/1, 787 dreamliner, 777 and A330. The A320's had onboard mobile coverage (although at intl roaming prices).
