QantasLink Airbus A220 Discussion

Think you will find the crewing situation does not allow for twin doors, basically the crew are too busy doing other duties, maybe @twinaisle can confirm. QF had issues with the turnaround time on these birds when they first arrived.

I can't see how that would be applicable on arrival. Cabin crew are just standing around waiting for pax to disembark.

Edit: Actually recently arriving into SYD on QF6 that also only used a single door (door 2).

Given a choice between 4A and 4F which would you go for? Or are they much of a muchness?
Haven't used either. On observation, maybe 4A is slightly better due to the 2-3 configuration. IIRC 4A should have decent underseat stroage space. not sure about the overhead config., but you're not going to have the life raft about 4A.

Crimson Rosella had an aircon failure on the way from BNE to ADL yesterday.

We were on the return flight back to the Brisbane. I asked one of the engineers who was standing on the aerobridge when we boarded (nearly two hours late) what the problem had been. He said that it was a computer issue that required a system restart. It was the captain who told us it was an aircon unit failure and that the length of delay was actually caused by the paperwork that had to be completed.

Anyone had similar issue on an A220? Such a nice plane to fly on and it'll be sad if it proves problematic.
