Qantas - Why no WhatsApp or Chatbot?

From my interactions with Telstra and Optus I genuinely wouldn’t be able to tell you if I was dealing with a human or a bot

Ah, yes, there's that, too. 😉 Also sadly true.

The best example of a genuinely good bot I've had so far is eBay. The issue was fairly quirky but resolved without a problem, and I made it 90% of the way through before I suspected I might be talking to a bot. Once I clued in, I asked it, and it confirmed it was. I work in the industry, so I was genuinely impressed it had fooled me, and genuinely impressed it had performed so well.

I've suspected Amazon uses them more and more too, but again, I've always been very satisfied with the resolutions, so I don't care.
