This article seems to suggest they're still at it. It suggests discussion re joining new alliance with Emirates. Very surprising.

Qantas reaching out to Singapore Airlines — report | Australian Aviation Magazine

Find it difficult to believe that they're still at it , journalistic license perhaps? SQ in particular give people an extra reason to fly VA domestically so not surprising that QF would like to kill their relationship. But can't see it happening and can't see competition regulators being too keen on it, as that would leave only 9 flights a week between SIN & Australia not operated by EK, QF group, or an airline that SQ has an interest in.

Which airlines are the 9 flights?

Actually, sorry it is 10. BA (daily ex SYD) and EY (3x weekly ex BNE).

Otherwise you have the SQ stable (SQ, MI, TR & Scoot), the QF stable (QF, JQ & 3K) and EK ... with I don't know 28 flights a day to/from the different cities.

That would basically kill off oneworld. MH and CX would be pretty pissed!
