Just wondering if you are able to use the front toilet on a Qantas 737 if you are in economy or is it for business class only like Virgin?

There are dozens of posts on here about this but the short answer is no but very dependent on the FA you get. Also - if you have a mobility issue it might be worth asking before you get on

Thought it would be a no but was hoping it would be a yes as just been downgraded from Business to row 4 economy.

On a QF737 flight last week

There was an announcenemt that Y passengers toilers are at the rear.
I saw a few Y passenger get turned away but that was during J meal service period.
But also saw another Y passenger go to the J toilets. She was in row 5 and went to the J loos during descent into Syd.

Generally they wont be dragon like about it. But be respectful, pick an appropriate time.

But the front loos are exactly the same as rear loos.

Do the DYKWIA and charge through Business Class, or else take the walk of shame back to the potties behind the last row. 🤭

Not related to the 737, but it’s a toilet story….

On the 747-200 there was a toilet within the coughpit. On this particular flight we had a cabin crew, and in particular, a CSM, who were particularly anti pilot (which is a weird thing that pervades QF). So, the CSM has told the cabin crew that the coughpit toilet is not ”just for the pilots” and that they should use it in preference to the ones in the cabin. Needless to say, the Captain was not particularly impressed with a constant stream of cabin crew coming to the coughpit, especially when quite a few didn’t even have the manners to say hello. So, he’s about to say something about this, when the engineer pipes up and says that “he’ll fix it”. A few minutes later someone turns up, and goes into the cubicle. They’re there for a very long time. And some more time. Eventually they come out, and ask the engineer for the “cabin condition log” as they need to write something up. He hands it over, and they write away. Leave. Engineer pushes a circuit breaker into a panel next to him, and wanders into the toilet. Comes back and signs off the log as fixed. No more unwelcome visitors.

The CB? Toilet flush power.
