Qantas to start new route Perth to Jakarta

VA already have a crew base in Perth for both pilots and cabin crew. They would operate both Dom and any SHI.

Here is the flight times they had on the prior double daily application. Considering the amount of aircraft they overnight in Perth I would imagine an overnight service would still be planned. Same day return probably won’t be too popular with crew.

Was there not some talk of them doing so in 27?

Why would VA have an international crew base established at PER? Don't have international flights at all ex PER unless you include QR ..the DOH connection?

I think they were referring to QF, not VA.
