Qantas to resume Sapporo flights

I am worried that the CTS route is going to affect fleet availability and reliability.
Just last week, a heavy snow has ended up severe delays for many airliners flying in and out of Sapporo.
With A330 fleet is so thin, how will they ensure once an A330 is down from snow storm, other routes are not getting affected?
The CSM we had on HND-SYD on Friday told me he was involved in the snowstorm event and they actually managed to get out of there Monday night while thousands were stranded, albeit 3 hours late.
I think the disruptions were more so buses/trains that really caused the chaos as arriving passengers couldn't go anywhere.

Ah yes I'd be worried more about trains and buses than the planes. Last time i was at Sapporo in winter our "20 minutes" train journey was 55 mins due to slower driving by the train and we had no idea which train was the one we hopped on as it was all delayed.

Incidentally though JL got us through their check in etc ultra fast and we bag dropped 19 mins before pushback time. Pushback itself was only 9 mins late.
