I've said this before - Qantas really need to have the performance of their sites tested. Doing nothing and pissing off their potential customers is STUPID!

... speaking as a Testing professional.

I'm trying to find a classic reward flight SYD-LHR return for June. There was very limited availability earlier thismorning when the website worked. No idea now as I'm watching three circles pulse...

Doing it via Asia Miles is not a bad idea, have enough points there for a J/F redemption

Makes you wonder how many "lucky" pax got bookings today, that may not be there tomorrow.
It can be done.

So far 6 bookings for me. All to the US. Although these are replacements for the flights CX cancelled on me in the last 24 hours.

Still getting 500 errors and other "website errors" FFS

Meanwhile on hold for 131313

Actually scratching the thought of changing my Singapore to Melbourne flight, as QF36 (which is newly released this morning) is run by a 787 with economy in 3-3-3, rather than on an A330 with 2-4-2.

There is PE and Business availability, but I don't think it'll be worth the points difference.

I may come back at a later time though, if the availability is still there when the website returns back to normal.

Had it been on an A330 with 2-4-2, even despite being older than the 787s, I'd pick that purely for the fact that on an overnight flight my partner and I won't have to sit next to anyone.

All the CX availability appears to have been pulled, all gone from BA.com as well
I noticed this as well. Lots of available in J and F and then vanished, including for call center team I was speaking with :(

I just booked a flight, got up to the entering my credit card details, which I did, and then when I hit next I got the 500 error . So my booking has been created (I have a booking number) but it didn't deducted the QFF points and when I try and manage the booking it just gives me an error page.
I just put the reservation number into Check My Trip. It says the booking is confirmed. Does that mean it actually went though on the Qantas booking site? (If so, miracles of miracles!)

Hahah so RJ.com says that I still need to pay and to proceed to payment page. If only it were that easy (stupid error 500)

This feels like the free Dominos pizza promo except I am paying crazy amounts for fees and charges.

500 errors at every step. No stress testing from Qantas QA team. Has this been outsourced too? Qantas, please consider scaling up your resource pool when timeouts are increasing on your server. Scaling up and down in PROD can be done automatically.

American Airlines is holding MEL-LAX for me in business for 80,000 miles per person. They will hold it for five days.

Eh, I've given up. Trying to search for anything and the only flights SYD-HND are either JQ or CI on the dates I want, or Y. What a waste of a million points.

disappointing qantas points holders are having the most difficulty (not) booking the rewards (that were) available
