I‘ve seen a one way fare on QLK between NTL and BNE for $1049 once. Q400 Y...

Just as a data point , I spent 4 days this week down in MIM . Monday flight SYD-MIM, we had 20 pax on . Today (Thurs) flight MIM- SYD we had 15 pax on. It arrived from SYD with only 10 pax on.

I’m fairly certain getting more slots at Sydney won’t be a problem for the next year or two

Perhaps the airport will have to start paying the airlines to use a slot....

Interesting what "competition" brings to such a route.

For the rest of the January, Qantas flights are all currently available for the cheapest fare of $190 in either direction.

Meanwhile Rex have:
for SYD-MIM - 5 days @ $129*, 5 days @ $167. 3 days @ $200, 2 day @ $233
for MIM-SYD - 5 days @ $129*, 6 days @ $167. 2 days @ $200, 1 day @ $233

QF SNAP !!! fares from $109-$129 . REX are a bunch of idiots, they cant handle competition .

Our team are finding the QF MIM flights very busy of late (we operate FIFO clinics down there). So if they sell out of the cheap seats I don't understand Rex's problem?
