I think that happened to me once, so I fixed it to the case. The scanners then rejected the bag, too many tags!

In BNE QC check-in they still print out a paper strip even though the coaster is clearly visible.
Are you referring to the baggage receipt once your bag has whisked away?

Quite often, the older machines run out of paper but that’s now redundant anyway with the app including your bag tags electronically.

The new gen bag drop off machines don’t have the option to print bag receipts.

Flight delayed by 25mins tonight due to late arrival of inbound aircraft, delay only announced after directed to go to gate. Of course lots of impatient gate lice start lining up whilst people are still disembarking from the inbound.

Stood by as about 6 SGs in whY (Group 2) position themselves at front of the priority queue. Boarding finally starts for Group 1 and it was entertaining to see the group 2s get denied boarding and do walk of shame.

Saw them board after about 25 more people had, guess as is not uncommon on Friday night capital city flights to have hefty number of staus pax.

I still feel the most amusing ive seen is what i call the elite express. Plane parked at gate 5 Syd (right at exit of lounge) and you just had a non stop stream come on for about half the plane. Lots of CL/P1s as well since row 4/5 was out before T80. Then the plane parks into gate 1 at MEL. I think around 5pm departure.

Last week I was waiting patiently at the front of Group 1, waiting to board an Adelaide flight in Sydney, when a middle-ged woman marched up to me - ignoring the queue behind me - and said, "Go on, board!" I said Group 1 isn't boarding yet, they are borading PRE, but she kept telling me to get on with boarding. When I refused to move, she marched on up to the gate agent, who, unsurprisingly, told her that Group 1 wasn't boarding yet. So she took a small step to the side, and as soon as the last PRE pax boarded, off she went. And she was Group 1! What is with these rude, entitled people?

No, this is the long paper bag tag that the masses get.

Did you go to a kiosk? I never used them but I assume they’ll print a bag tag by default. That’s pretty much all they do now - that you can’t do online/in app.
