Qantas to form union with Qatar Airways

I have note seen anyone post this yet but should make for an interesting discussion. If this means that QF will start services to Qatar from Melbourne :?: this can only be seen as good news for QFi. A380 to Qatar would be fantastic and with codeshare connections to all over europe. Not to mention Qatar have taken delivery of the 787 already!
