Not quite as good. 100 SCs on CX J v say 120 SCs for Discount Biz with QF code. But better than 60 SCs ex SYD/MEL/BNE.And also ADL-HKG.

And ex-ADL may be more expensive than ex-PER.Not quite as good. 100 SCs on CX J v say 120 SCs for Discount Biz with QF code. But better than 60 SCs ex SYD/MEL/BNE.
Having had the prime JL flight selected as D, they wouldn't let it hold for more than a few days without ticketing.
It was quite a while ago (around 2018) - and I think it did hang around for quite a while, but then wouldn't let it be added back after the time ran out - so JL lost out. There were a few other wrinkles, as we we transitting HNL-NRT-HKG IIRC, and I think there may have been some other factors limiting what was happening. I know we were on JL metal, flew HNL-NRT on a JL code, and ended up NRT-HKG on a CX codeshare. The fact that we were on the JL prime from HNL makes me think it wasn't a generic JL ticket deadline, but something to do with the routing and that particular flight to HKG. Too long ago to remember, but I do remember it was a case of getting a benefit from having a codeshare.JL and CX both give quite a long time for ticketing on DCIR and DONE fares so whoever set up your booking did not set it up correctly if they were receiving a short ticketing deadline.
