Qantas to change PER-SIN equipment??

Been trying to select seats for my upcoming PER-SIN QF 071 this May,
The error message I get is:



This has been the case for 3-4 days now while all other bookings of mine are open to select the seats.

Do you think this might hint that the aircraft for PER-SIN is being changed? Perhaps B744 now that the Syd-Per flights are starting?

Am on the phone to QF Telephone Sales now and attendant also can't access the seat map! Interesting.

Follow up to this: The Telephone Sales (131313) person was extremely helpful and managed to get me the exits I wanted Still interesting that the seat maps can't be loaded.

happened to me as well.

I tried changing flights to earlier dates (Sept to June) and I was told to call the ticketing office.

There have been a few recent changes with 767 doing per/sin.

Well I certainly hope that doesn't happen.

The IFE on the 333 is far better than Mainscreen on the 763.

I am not aware of any 767s running to SIN ex PER lately, although there was some 747 equipment used late Feb, mind you QF ran a 767 to HKG then NRT today so anything is possible.

You can't see a seat map when the aircraft type hasn't been assigned (at least in the reservations system). What I'd read into this given QF's 'changes' at the moment: there will be alot of changes to aircraft types on 'short' international flights in the upcoming schedule. Out of PER you could get a 330 or a 767.
