Thank you for messing up our online checkin, thank you!!! Now all of us have no ticket in our hands, don't know if our seats are still going to be waiting for us at the airport, nothing, nada, zilch, kaput.

We are unable to process your check-in request at this time. Try again later or proceed to the airport to check in. [ER100]

Once again you cannot manage to check me through to a partner airline, once again your whole system fails, this is the last time I book Qantas internationally that has anything to do with connecting to a partner airline. No wonder you're losing money, your check-in system is barry white!

If you have bags to check in then you need to go to the counter anyway and get your boarding passes there.
If you are so worried that someone changed your seat you can always call customer service to check.
And yes, QF IT is cough. But I don't think that not being able to check in online is a good enough reason not to fly with them anymore.

If you can put your neurosis aside for a few minutes, log onto the site and go to Manage My Booking and you will see what seats you are in.

Personally, I've never liked online check-in anyway - I think people should not be checked-in until they are physically present at the airport, as that's really the only way to guarantee they are going to get onto the aircraft!

Similar drama... I booked a ticket last month, but the money never left my account, even though it's showing in my bookings. Have phoned twice now and been assured it'll be done by close of business each time, but still nothing. Really looking forward to turning up to the airport and having no ticket!

I think they might need to pony up the cash to complete the new system that went over budget, otherwise this will just keep happening.

I can never use online checkin for International Flights with Qantas - my name on my boarding pass and passport don't match and never have - Qantas butchers my name as their IT systems can not cope with a symbol in my name its a ( - )
