From reports the plan was for 22/23 SSM upgrades.
Query if the four ex-SQ 737s will be added to this set, possibly depends on whether QF has purchased v leased, and/or lease terms.
Genuine questions for those deliberately avoiding the B737Max:
- are you avoiding all of the ‘family’ or just Max8?
- at what point of ‘safe’ flying by the Max will you reconsider? (ie: after 5 years of no ‘aircraft fault incidents’; after 50M miles flown with no incident; what metric do you have)
- do you have a $ figure where if your aircraft is subbed at the last minute for a Max you’ll still choose to fly elsewhere, or you just board the aircraft and suck it up?
I ask, as slowly but surely the Max family will supplement the 737NG family in many airlines around the world.
Final question, can you identify these split scimitar equipped aircraft versus the Max ‘toppled V’ winglets from a jet bridge whilst boarding?
