Hi all - I have an upcoming economy reward booking on JAL in May.

I have not received an email from qantas with an E-Ticket however if I check the PNR in checkmytrip there is an E-Ticket number attached.

I can't seem to generate the E-ticket from MMB on Qantas site and just get an error. Called call centre and they just sent me the Amadeus itinerary which isn't much help. A weird thing I also noticed was the fact that I am booked into a "T" Class fare bucket when I look at Manage my Booking.

Per Qantas website "T" bucket is discount Premium Economy - I should be booked into "X". Now, I'm not sure whether this is because it's a JAL flight booked on Qantas that makes it different however I have flown non-qantas airlines on economy classic rewards before and have all been booked into "X" fare bucket. Do you think even though I have an e-ticket that potentially someone has messed up processing my booking and I won't be allowed to board the flight?

Not every airline use the same buckets for the same things. As indicated above, JL use T for economy redemption.

There are many common ones, and some airlines and alliances do try and standardise such things but it is not always going to follow for various reasons.

Another example is airlines who do not offer/sell First class will often use the common F/A buckets most commonly associated with First bookings for other things.
