Qantas Reveals new A321XLR and 787 Business Class Seats (new 787 frames only)

Welcome to AFF @Huxy .

There will be doors on each ‘suite’ so either they can lock themselves away or you can close your door. No feet exposure.
The footsie thing was particularly prevalent in the coffin class of old. CX had “footrest” that became part of the final flatbed.

Of course, everyone put their feet on it in the sitting position. I have an example photo of it somewhere.

I hope QF rethinks the inward facing Herringbone lie flat beds. I experienced on NZ who got rid of them.
Disliked: 1. Not being to see out of the window as my back to it.
2. Looking at other pax smelly feet in aisle
3. Tall pax feet intruded into the aisle - so made it difficult to pass for other pax, crew & trolleys - very unhygenic.
I suggest taking a look at some videos of JetBlue. Point 2 and 3 aren't really relevant with this seat unless you really look for your neighbours feet.

This setup isn't anything like NZ and VS old Herringbone seats.
