Qantas Refund

HI I was hoping I can get some help on Qantas refund - it's been over a year I am still waiting on refund Qantas has advised that they have refunded money but I never received any money since I paid thru PayPal - PayPal has advised they can not received refund any services over 180 days or 6 months - I have called over 100 times to Qantas send many email as I can send I have included Alan joyce on email I know he doesn't read it have contacted on Qantas facebook page but still same answer we will review & get back to you - It's shameful that Qantas is National Carier of Australia

Any chance you have travel insurance?

I found your thread as I was looking for experience. I had a $600 refund due which they processed for $2.10 to my bank. I mean WTF are they doing there?

that's not even a backlog, that's just incompetent.

Nothing to do with travel insurance, but I received an email from BKK-Qantas a few days ago asking me to ring them about a refund I was owed due to a cancellation for a flight ex BKK.

They wanted me to confirm my credit card details for the refund.

A bit strange, I thought, but I phoned as requested, and a nice lady took the call and said the refund would be processed within a couple of weeks. Let's see.

Pity Qantas can't get their refunds processes sorted like many airlines do. What a convoluted nonsense.
