Yep they're sure to be praying fuel stays low, the loss still isn't covered in profits yet

In the last 24 hours or so fuel has dropped in price but so might the A$.

Let's see how QF performs when the fuel price rises significantly and it has to rehedge.

Not forgetting low fuel prices and some massive asset depreciation and other accounting tricks....

Low fuel helped.
I think the big write-offs were more a catch-up on previous reluctance.
Not like anyone would buy a 747 these days, and I'd hate to have to test an A380 in the open (what) market

Yeah. MY tested all six of theirs in the open market in 2015 and sold none of them. Sold all their 777s again. They must have been desperate for cash.

At least in terms of proportion of total fleet, QF aren't as A380 exposed as some.

Do they all park up at the same spot in the US or are there multiple sites they use?

Any ideas on costs?
